The initial concept for this project came from the art of Yaacov Agam. As you change your position in the room the curtain changes it's appearance, transforming from the geometric pattern to the duck pattern and vice versa. It is all a question of point of view. The fabric is printed in advance with the stripes and then connected to reinforcing fabric using double sided fusible. Afterwards the pleats are simply applied with a steam iron, holding the form in place. The graphic patterns are used to convey the idea of directions- a type of arrow on one side and migrating ducks on the other.
